A historical actor in stone since 1912, Guinet-Derriaz operates natural stone quarries extending over an area of more than 100 hectares located in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and in Burgundy. Today, Guinet-Derriaz is relocating French know-how in the exploitation of ornamental rock by consolidating and modernizing two production sites.
The marble stones from the Guinet-Derriaz quarries have remarkable mechanical and aesthetic qualities which have earned them the choice of emblematic projects in France and abroad.

RENOVATION OF THE SAINT ALBIN TUNNEL
Guinet Derriaz is completing the restoration work on walls of Saint Albin tunnel within the waterways of France in Chandore limestone. This stone extracted from our quarries has been chosen for its low porosity which guarantees sustainability.
Started in March 2020, the rehabilitation works from the upstream head of the Saint Albin tunnel are currently ending. The construction site has now shifted on the downstream head of the tunnel. Two years will be necessary to carry out this operation.
